Gauteng’s new Lion and Safari Park in the Cradle of Mankind, required a full strategy and visual identity which could house its primary and secondary commercial offerings in a distinct, seamless manner. The park offers a host of activities including guided game drives on the property with a host of animals to be discovered, offering tourists a full African Safari experience – all a stone’s throw from Johannesburg.
We established ‘Explore. Discover.’ as the new strategic positioning for the park echoed throughout the new brand collateral.
One of the attractions at the park is the 'Frozen Kingdom' an ice-cream experience for the whole family. The name, logo and identity relates to both the product and the location. We developed a set of Frozen Kingdom inhabitants using only the shape of a scoop of ice-cream.
Kids club and rewards programme. The club's look and feel was designed to be unique but still relate to the Lion & Safari Park's brand image.
Logo design & land art installation for Wetlands Bar & Restaurant. Once again the concept for this identity supports the park's positioning of 'Explore, Discover'. The logo was designed using a custom typeface inspired by wetland bullrushes. The bar and deck area of the restaurant overlooks the logo installation - hidden within the natural wetlands.

This restaurant offers a 5star dining experience. It's ambiance is unmistakably African as is the locally infused steakhouse menu.
